The Man Behind the Men Award
Manhood is not a solo journey. Men are not born; they are made in the crucible of pain and affliction. Men are developed two ways: discipleship or trauma. Most men, in the early years choose trauma over discipleship as their tutor. Along the way, most men encounter another man who was there for them at just the right time. These men who joined us at our crossroads kept us out of the crosshairs of the devil and helped us achieve success that we could not achieve otherwise. Many of these men who stood in the gap for us are unsung heroes. They deserve more recognition for the impact they’ve had on your life.
Mighty Men of Valor wants to provide you a place and a time to honor the man who stood behind you as wind beneath your wings. Each man that attends MVM this year is asked to identify ONE man who deserves your honor. These men do not have to be Christians. E-mail us their name, address, telephone number, email address and testimony about why they should receive this award. Your honoree will be recognized and given an award at the Mighty Men of Valor Conference during the luncheon. Your nominee MUST attend the Mighty Men of Valor Conference in order to receive the award.
The National Mighty Men of Valor Man Behind the Men Award will be presented to three outstanding men who have impacted countless numbers of men through men. Their legacy of love and their passion for helping boys to men has been traced back decades. They deserve recognition.
